Why Torque Sensor
The torque sensor pedal assist systems measure the amount of power you are putting into the pedals and it will increase or decrease the electric assist based on your pedaling power, providing smoother acceleration, better hill-climbing capability, and improved energy efficiency. This results in a more intuitive and enjoyable ride, making torque sensing e-bikes a preferred choice for many cyclists. They are also generally found on the more expensive e-bikes or e-bike kits.

Whether using it without the battery for exercise purposes or causing the trails in the pedal assit mode, you won't be disappointed. At 62 years old and 215 lbs, it rides and handles well beyond my expectations. Highly recommend!

I've been riding the HovRanger Mountain eBike for about a month now, and it’s been a fantastic experience overall. The bike is powerful, smooth, and handles both hills and trails surprisingly well. The pedal assist makes longer rides way more enjoyable.
That said, I did have a minor hiccup early on — the front headlight wasn’t working properly out of the box. I contacted Hovsco’s customer support, and to their credit, they responded quickly and walked me through a couple of simple troubleshooting steps. When that didn’t work, they immediately shipped me a replacement light, no questions asked. The entire process was quick and painless.
It's rare to see that kind of customer service these days, and it really gave me confidence in the brand. Solid bike, solid support — would definitely recommend.

I really like this bike, it looks good it's comfortable and it has alot of power. Just built it today and took it for a short ride so far I think it's great. I compared it to a bunch of other bikes and I'd say for the money this is a good deal.

The bike was easy to assemble and all the tools needed to put it together were included. The video for assembly helped tremendously. Very solid ebike, I cannot wait to put the miles on it!! Will be ordering a trailer soon to bring the furry ones with me.

Not only was it easy to put together, but it rides amazing, is SO comfortable, and the range is incredible. I have used it about 4 times so far and I’m at 94% charge still! I would recommend this bike to anyone. My first e-bike experience has been amazing! Thank you for making such a reliable piece of equipment!
